3 Ways to Save Flash Movies from Websites

This simple tutorial will show you how to save flash movies in Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome respectively.

Save Flash Animations in Firefox 

Step 1: Navigate to the page containing the flash movies you want to save. Right-click a blank area on the page and select "View Info".
Step 2: Navigate to the "Media tab".
Step 3: Scroll through the list of media to find the flash animation. Flashes usually appear as "Embeds" or "Objects".
Step 4: Click on the flash animation file and hit "Save As".

Save Flash Movies in Internet Explorer 

Step 1: Go to the destination webpage, click "Tools" and choose "Internet" options.
Step 2: Under the "General" tab, find the "Browsing Information" and click "Settings".
Step 3: In the new dialog box that pops up, click "View Files". This will take you to a list of temporary internet files.
Step 4: Scroll through the list of files to find the flash animation. Right-click the file, hit "Copy", and paste it in the location where you would like to save it.

Download Flash Movies in Google Chrome 

Step 1: Right-click the blank area on the page where the flash movie is embedded. Then select "View Page Source".
Step 2: Search for the file extension (usually .swf or .flv) to find the flash animation.
Step 3: Copy the partial URL of the flash file. In a new window or tab, type the base URL of the page where you find the flash movie.
Step 4: Paste the partial URL of the flash animation to the end of the base URL and hit "Enter". Then go to "Tools" and select "Save Page As".
